marbocyl 10 100ml Active Ingredient and Composition

Each 100ml contains marbofloxacin 10g, monothioglycerol 0.1g, metacresol 0.2g and disodium edetate 0.01g.

This represents a 10% concentration of marbofloxacin (100mg/ml).

Target Species and Indications

Cattle:

Cattle: Indicated in the treatment of respiratory infections caused by susceptible strains of organisms. It is also indicated in the treatment of acute E.coli mastitis.

In cattle, for the treatment of respiratory infections caused by P.multocida, M.haemolytica and M.bovis and treatment of acute mastitis caused by E.coli.

Treatment of respiratory infections caused by sensitive strains of Pasteurella multocida, Mannheimia (Pasteurella) haemolytica and Mycoplasma bovis. Treatment of acute mastitis caused by E.coli strains sensitive to marbofloxacin during the lactation period.

Pigs:

Pigs: Indicated in the treatment of Metritis Mastitis Agalactia syndrome caused.by susceptible organisms.

Dogs and Cats:

Cattle:

Cattle: 2 mg of marbofloxacin/kg body weight (corresponding to 1 ml Marbosan-100 per 50 kg body weight) as a subcutaneous or an intramuscular injection once daily for 3 – 5 days. The treatment for acute mastitis is 3 days intramuscularly. The first injection may be administered intravenousy.
